Fibrea Terms of Use

Version: 1.0 · Effective date: 21 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Sergey Karaev, a private individual resident in Montenegro ("we", "us"), who develops and runs the Fibrea app and the website fibrea.fit. By using the app you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app.

1. The service

Fibrea helps you train, breathe and eat better: workouts and an exercise library, breathing practices, a food diary with nutrients and recipes, a calendar and plan, runs and rides with GPS, a cycle calendar, progress photos, connections to Apple Health and Health Connect, and AI features (an AI coach and plate photo estimate). Part of the app is free; the rest needs a PRO subscription (section 4).

We keep improving the app, so features may be added, changed or removed. If we remove a paid feature that was a main reason for your subscription, you can ask the store for a refund under its rules (section 4.5).

2. Who can use Fibrea

You must be at least 16 years old. The AI coach is available only from 18. By using the app you confirm that you meet these ages.

3. Your account

4. PRO subscription

4.1 What you get. PRO unlocks the full exercise and recipe library, all breathing practices, more custom workouts than the free plan, the AI coach and plate photo (with daily fair-use limits shown in the app), and other features marked PRO. The current list is shown on the subscription screen.

4.2 Plans and price. PRO is offered as a monthly or yearly subscription. The price, currency and taxes are shown by the App Store or Google Play before you buy and depend on your country. We may change prices; the store will notify you in advance and, where the law requires, ask for your agreement.

4.3 Free trial. The yearly plan may include a 7-day free trial. We remind you on day 5. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the yearly subscription starts and you are charged. One trial per store account.

4.4 Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account at confirmation of purchase and at each renewal.

4.5 Cancelling and refunds. You cancel in your store account settings (iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions; Android: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions); the app has a direct link. After cancellation PRO stays active until the end of the paid period. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel the subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google, so refunds are handled by them under their rules: Apple — https://reportaproblem.apple.com, Google — https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637. This does not limit refund rights you have under mandatory law (section 14).

4.6 After PRO ends. Your data and anything you created stays visible; PRO features lock again.

4.7 Fair use. AI features have daily limits to keep the service affordable and safe. A new account, reinstalling the app or switching phones does not reset them or give a new trial.

5. Health and safety — please read

5.1 Not medical advice. Fibrea provides general information on fitness, breathing and nutrition. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and does not replace a doctor, dietitian or qualified trainer.

5.2 Talk to a doctor first before starting training, breathing practices or changing your diet if you are pregnant or recently gave birth, have a heart, blood pressure, respiratory, kidney, metabolic or other chronic condition, an eating disorder, an injury, take medication, or are unsure whether exercise is safe for you.

5.3 Listen to your body. Stop immediately and seek help if you feel pain, dizziness, chest pressure, shortness of breath or feel unwell. Choose weights and intensity you can handle with good form.

5.4 Breathing practices. Do not practise them while driving, in or near water, or in any situation where losing concentration or feeling light-headed could be dangerous. Breath-holding practices are hidden for health limitations you report, but you remain responsible for choosing what suits you.

5.5 Outdoor activities. When you run, ride or walk, watch traffic and your surroundings, obey traffic rules, and do not look at the screen when it is unsafe.

5.6 Calories, nutrients and the cycle. Calorie and nutrient targets and the plate photo are estimates. Product data may be incomplete or wrong; always check the label, especially for allergens. Cycle predictions are estimates and are not a method of contraception or for planning pregnancy.

5.7 AI features. The AI coach and plate photo are generated by an AI system. You are interacting with AI, not a person. Answers can be inaccurate or incomplete. They are not a diagnosis or treatment plan. In an emergency call your local emergency number.

5.8 AI-generated images. Many pictures of dishes, cooking steps and exercises in the app were created with AI and may contain errors (for example extra hands, wrong technique, wrong look of a product or utensil). They are illustrations, not instructions. Follow the written recipe or exercise description and common sense: take care with heat, knives and food hygiene, and do not copy a movement from a picture if it feels wrong or goes against your doctor's or trainer's advice.

6. Acceptable use

Please do not: use the app unlawfully; try to access other people's data or our servers beyond the normal use of the app; reverse engineer, scrape or copy the app or its content except where the law allows; bypass subscriptions, trials or limits; use the AI features to create harmful, illegal or abusive content or to extract the system instructions; overload or interfere with the service; resell access.

7. Your content

Your entries, your own exercises, workouts and products, photos and ratings remain yours. You give us only the permission we need to store, sync and show them to you, and to show the anonymous average of ratings to other users. You confirm that you have the right to upload what you upload (for example, photos only of yourself or with permission).

8. Our content and licence

The app, its design, texts, exercise and breathing programmes, recipes, images, audio and code belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, subject to these terms and the store's rules.

Third-party content keeps its own licence:

9. Third-party services

The app works with services we do not control: Apple, Google, Apple Health, Health Connect, maps, Open Food Facts, Bluetooth sensors and watches. Their terms apply to them, and we are not responsible for their availability or accuracy.

10. Availability and changes

We try to keep Fibrea available but cannot promise it will always work without interruptions or errors. Data on your phone without an account can be lost if you lose or reset the phone — use sync or export to keep a copy.

11. Liability

11.1 We provide the app with reasonable care. To the extent the law allows, the app is provided "as is", and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or data loss caused by events outside our reasonable control.

11.2 Our total liability for any claim connected with the app is limited to the amount you paid for PRO in the 12 months before the claim, or EUR 50 if you paid nothing, to the extent the law allows.

11.3 Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for intentional or grossly negligent conduct, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

12. Ending use

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, after warning you where reasonable; if that happens during a paid period without your fault, contact us. Sections 5, 7, 8, 11 and 16 continue to apply after the agreement ends.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when we add features or the law changes. We will show the new version and effective date in the app before it applies; for significant changes we will tell you at least 30 days in advance. If you do not agree, you can stop using the app and cancel your subscription before the changes apply.

14. Consumers in the EU, EEA and UK

15. Apple App Store

If you downloaded the app from the App Store: these terms are between you and us, not Apple; Apple is not responsible for the app or its content and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. If the app fails to meet an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); Apple has no other warranty obligation. We, not Apple, are responsible for handling product claims, intellectual property claims and claims that the app does not comply with laws. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo and are not on a US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. These terms also respect the Apple Media Services Terms.

16. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Montenegro. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts of that country. Before going to court, please write to support@fibrea.fit — most issues can be solved quickly.
